Adolph Lechtenberger, CEO and Director
Mr. Lechtenberger joined Red Leaf as CEO in the fall of 2012. Prior to joining Red Leaf, he spent many years in executive management, strategic planning, technical oversight and operations in the refining industry including three years with Petroplus in Switzerland, over 10 years with CITGO, and nearly 20 years with Exxon. Interestingly, during his tenure at Exxon, he worked on development of two Powder River Basin coal mines and Exxon’s oil shale project in Western Colorado.

Dr. James W. Patten, Chief Technology Officer
Co-founder of Red Leaf Resources in December 2006. Past President and CEO, past Chairman of the Board of Directors. Co-author or author of all of the initial patents, and continues to author or co-author many of the new patents. Leads development of the intellectual property portfolio and validation of the technology in the laboratory and in the field. Previously with Battelle (1969-1982 and 2000-2007) as Vice President, Non-conventional Petroleum Resources. Also previously with Cummins Engine Co (1982-2000) as Executive Director, with responsibility for technology business ventures and technical strategy for the Off Highway Business Unit. BS, MS, PhD in metallurgy, engineering, physics from Case and Washington State University.

Keith W. Johns, Technical Project Manager
Keith Johns joined Red Leaf in 2013 as the Project Mechanical Engineer where he managed the design and de-risking of the elaborate array of heating pipes in the demonstration project. In 2016, he was asked to lead the team as the Technical Project Manager. Prior to joining Red Leaf, he spent 9 years with Bechtel where he was involved in constructing multi-billion-dollar power projects. At Bechtel, he excelled at organizing and leading multi-faceted teams and streamlining work processes. He also worked as a Project Manager for a regional industrial contractor where managed several capital and maintenance projects. Keith has a BSME from Brigham Young University (2002) and an MBA from Marquette University (2009).

Alex Bocock, VP of Investor Relations and Business Development
Alex Bocock was an initial investor in Red Leaf in 2006 and served on the Board from 2006-2012. He joined the company full-time in 2013. From 1998-2012 he ran the Dynamis Energy Fund with his partners. He graduated with a B.A from Princeton University in 1990, received his M.B.A. from the Darden School at University of Virginia in 1998, and received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation that same year.
